Push yourself a bit more!!!
When we were small, we all had this wish of making it big in life. Becoming an actor, a doctor, an engineer etc. But as we become big & face the reality, we end up being something else only. Even if we achieve what we wanted, the very next second we realize the world is much ahead of us.
I don’t want you to compete with the world but to compete with yourself. The power has & always will be within you, but nothing will happen until you get & stay motivated to make something happen, to change your life & achieve your desires. One should always try to move a step further from where he is because once you put the first step, then “SKY IS THE LIMIT”
It is not necessary that one has to be academically excellent to get further in his/her life. Each of us has this hidden talent which we can cash on. The new world economy has opened up ample of opportunities for one to earn a better living.
Especially people in the low income group who have to do some or the other type of the manual labour to make ends meet can look at these openings. The wives & daughters of these families can look at jobs like being a governess or a beautician.
As in these days both the husband & wife are working professionals, the need for governess, who can take care of their children and house has increased. To be a governess one should have basic skills & childcare knowledge, above that if she knows English then it can be a bonus to her qualification.
Females can also think of becoming a beautician or specialize in applying mehendi. One can easily avail of such training under many of our society’s well known beautician.
Another opening is of a teacher. One can be a tuition teacher after she has completed her 12th or T.Y or else can take a 3 month course for nursery training & be a nursery teacher. One can also be a computer trainer after learning computer skills.
If one is good at art, she can be a drawings teacher in school or be a personal tutor or even think of becoming a fashion designer or an assistant to one.
They can also enhance their cooking skills and open cooking classes or sell chocolates & cakes.
The other family members can get a basic qualification and do clerical jobs in offices, or even upgrade themselves in some or the other areas.
The time & money required to learn such things is not much. If one really wishes and has exceptional skills their training can even be sponsored by our society.
What one needs to do is get out of the comfort zone and think big & think better. Why do so much of manual labour for so little of money?
When by enhancing your skills a bit you can do respected jobs and earn a decent living.
Hence, I would like to say ‘Push yourself a little!!!’ Start with a small step.
